There are so few of us that post regularly,it feels like a conversation among friends.when i consider how many check out the site,it feels like i'm on stage.it would be nice to hear from someone on the SF mortgage fraud task force, even in general terms, about the kinds of things they are looking at,and what the scope of fraud appears to be.

What is most interesting to me is that there are several hundred readers per day, and there have been days with over 1,000 readers that day... but according to the site meter stats there seem to be only a couple doezen readers in Sonoma County. ;-/

Regular readers are from all over the country, a LOT in Southern California for some reason, a ton from NYC, Washington D.C. and many from the UK, Canada and Singapore. It amazes me that there are so many people interested in tiny little Sonoma County's housing market.

Then the corporate and government entities reading and subscribing here are fascinating...Major investment houses, Major real estate holding companies, Mortgage Companies, Real Estate companies ... yet the stats show very little interest from people in Sonoma county. I think for every 100 readers it shows about 4 from Sonoma county.

Well, it is different here. No bubble here. Sonoma county doesn't need to worry about a real estate bubble. Everyone wants to live here. Why bother reading such nonsense on the web, right?
;-D

It is surprising.as you know i work as a loan broker, and i have referred well over 100 people in this county to your site, partly for the links to economic data for our county...and until recently as a way inform people who were considering buying of the risks involved.there is no risk of losing money if you buy a home in sonoma county today.it is a certainty.no caffeine until 1530 hours today? were you working until 3 am again??? or dancing?

heh... you saw me over at Ben's place? :-/ and yes...caffeine was way late today, and I was up working on stuff til' 3:am. no dancing here. I don't dance. ;-)

I check out ben's blog regularly,i get paid for my experrtise, such as it is,and that is part of my two hours or so of daily market research.i'm surprised you don't still dance,i would have bet you studied ballet just like i did.

LOL... I have never taken ballet. ;-D I don't have an ounce of grace, and am all left feet. If I danced someone would probably call the paramedics thinking I was having a seizure or something.

And... as for the Sonoma readers not showing up on the stats, there are a large number of Pacbell and Comcast IP's that come to the site daily that all trace to the greater bay area. It could be that the IP's simply don't show up as the actual location. My IP shows a bay area city location that is at least 60 miles from me, so that could be what is happening for other Sonoma County readers. Anyway, the level of unawareness of local economic fundamentals tells me many people here just don't care to be informed.

When the information is literally a point and click away, it speaks volumes about the dedication to being ignorant some people have. Indeed, the second infinity is human stupidity. ;-)

No problem Athena, in the near future some of the searches might read something like- why is my house worth half of what I paid in 2005, or AGGHHRRR! I hate my half million dollar sh%tbox.
