Buy the House, Get the Iron Maiden Free!!!

Sent in from a Sonoma resident...

This "bonus" room can be had for free if you buy the Malek Lane property for sale in Sonoma.

Hurry, Hurry, now is the time to buy. Real Estate only goes up.

If I buy this house do I get the pile of junk free? How about that mannequin? Can I have that?

(picture taken during a recent open house at this house)

This one above is listed in the Sunday Real Estate section of the Sonoma Paper with a headline that reads:

You Will Be Surprised!

Now why they gotta make it so easy to be mean to them?

We will be surprised by what?

The price? The fact that this little "cabin" in the crowded crooked alleyways of Boyes Hot Springs is on the market for just shy of $500k?

Readers... carry on... what else might we be surprised by?

(by the way, the Surprise Inside house is right next door to the house with the mannequin in the junk pile)

What the hell? Is the realtor is providing that photo?
Reminds me of something from those "Indiana Jones" movies.
I think most normal buyers would make quick tracks back to their car upon seeing that.

ROFL - a faithful Sonoma reader sent me the picture. I don't know much more about it, but there are a couple of properties listed for sale on Malek Lane (which is where this house for sale with the "bonus" room is located) It might be worth the field trip to the next open houses for those properties to see what lies in store for the lucky buyer! ;-)

I guess I'm rather slow, but I "get it" now: those are shelving brackets (minus shelves). And I thought it was some kind of twisted "death room" LOL.

The houses on Malek Lane listed for sale are over half a million dollars each.... you would think in that price range you might want to go ahead and leave the shelves. :-/

I love the BS picture. That is exactly the area my neighbor has been touting..all the rich folks from "The City" just dying to buy in the notorious dumping ground of parolees and sex-offenders..not that we don't have a few on the east side too but still..for sheer numbers they have us beat.
list is here

That's right. In order to qualify for your very own hovel in BS and be part of that lovely community you WILL need an income level above 150k, and of course people who make above 150k are simply barbarians at the gate pushing and shoving to live in such a desirable area!

Everyone wants to live here dontcha know?

BTW are you sure the thing in that dumpster is a mannequin??? Could this be one for CSI Boyes Springs?

well... we actually pulled up around the house TWICE to make sure. The real estate agent rushed to the front window, thinking we must be the sole interested party coming to the open house. but my passenger simply rolled down the window and snapped the picture.

Oh marinite, I don't think I am anywhere close to giving you a run for your money on the POS blog...yet... :-D but I assure you the Hubris and Entitlement Company has a booming branch office in Sonoma and the pics will be quite entertaining I am sure! stay tuned. field trips are fun!

Athena -

Apologies for the OT - but did you see this posted over at thehousingbubble yesterday?

This is a big hit (no pun intended).

"When we bought after the crash in 1991 in Sonoma CA, for 200k down from its 350k peak. The seller treated us like shit, accused us of stealing thier house. He almost punched me when I said “Its not about you or your home, its the market, amd your lucky I’m buying a house thats been sitting for almost a year. I had my lawyer complete all comumications after that. They also left the house a mess. I would have swued if they had any assets."
