Traditionally, balloons have been used to attract people to used car lots. Using balloons to attract people to real estate listings makes perfect sense. Everyone knows that a Realtor® is nothing more that a used car salesman in a suit. The way things are going in Sonoma County, some streets are quickly becoming used house lots.
yes... there are streets in every section of town with empty houses, speculator owned and sitting lifeless and over-priced.
This was the first debut of the balloons and I found it oddly appropriate for the slow deflation of the bubble...
i'll have to take my 4 year old to more open houses, she likes balloons...always interesting to see how many of the folks who show up are in the biz...sometimes they have good cookies too.lots of new preforeclosures showing up...i'll mention that at the next open house and ask the realtor if that means we can only expect 10% apppreciation this year
ohh... Tom... there were LOTs of good cookies to be had at the open houses we went to. We missed one that had sandwiches. My daughter was all excited about going to the sandwich house...but I pacified her with some taco bell and then we hit the open houses with the cookies and petite fours!
we ought to go to some of these open houses and have a bubble tea.
yes! we should! We looked for you yesterday...LOL... my daughter and I wore a couple of things that you would have recognized. ;-)
